In order to be great at socializing and communication, you really have to build a muscle of making the first move, and not expecting people to come to you or that the opportunities will magically fall into your lap. A great communicator, as a whole, is someone that can get out of their way, get out of their head, and have the confidence to go up to someone and introduce themselves and talk to them!
