Episode 27 - Interview With Brianny Terry And Erika Stevens - In Support of Women in Powerlifting

Today we’re joined by Erika Stevens, Brianny Terry, and Lindsey Rossiter. We discuss how Erika and Brianny got into fitness and powerlifting. We go in depth about a recent controversy concerning comments that were made against women in powerlifting on another podcast. We get Erika’s and Bri’s opinion on how this affects not just current lifters, but also future female lifters as well. We also discuss options for redesigning how a typical powerlifting meet schedule is structured, as well as hear Bri tell us her humorous 15 pound water cut story. Erika Stevens is a powerlifter out of Youngstown, Ohio. She has been powerlifting since 2016, and currently totals 1151 in sleeves at 166.9.
