
Episode 26: Traveling Preachers

<p>Listen as Sherry and Marshall discuss the traveling preachers who spread the gospel across the frontier.</p> <p><strong>This show's lagniappe:</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Frontier Biscuits</strong></p> <p>3 cups flour</p> <p>4 teaspoons baking powder</p> <p>1 teaspoon salt</p> <p>1 tablespoon sugar</p> <p>6 tablespoons butter, cold</p> <p>1 - 1 1/4 cups milk</p> <p> </p> <p>Combine dry ingredients in a bowl and stir to mix. Cut the butter into the flour until is becomes pea-sized. Stir in the milk just enough to combine, but don’t overmix. If the dough seems too dry add one tablespoon of flour at a time. Turn out onto a flour surface and roll to 1-inch thickness. Cut into biscuit shapes and place on a baking sheet.
