They explore silver and gold mining towns, Denver, Colorado Springs, and Manitou Springs. It opened in 1892 and is still in business today. This palate cleanser was served between courses.</p> <p><strong>Roman Punch</strong></p> <p>Serves 4</p> <p> </p> <p>2 cups water</p> <p>1 cup Madeira or port wine</p> <p>1/2 cup brandy</p> <p>Juice of 1 1/2 lemons</p> <p>2 cups sugar</p> <p>Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and stir until the sugar dissolves. Pour into a container that will go into the freezer.
