Description

Interactive Communication is usually the criterion that is least understood by many candidates. Many know that they have to respond and establish a conversation in many parts of the speaking test, but they sometimes don't know what they're doing that might affect their mark. Today, I've chosen the collaborative sections of the B2 First, C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency exams to illustrate how this is viewed from an examiner's point of view. The six candidates do a good job and, despite some mishaps, they manage to interact well among themselves. The visuals for the three levels can be downloaded from here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/10blaiOno3U3GOPaOpx4exqV6VugnhZM4/view?usp=sharing

I hope you can find my comments useful.
