Episode 176: America's Poor Scientific Literacy

<p>A new study by the University of Southern California highlights the difficulties the public may be having understanding the issues surrounding climate change because of a lack of comprehension in the terminology.  While this highlights a tendency of scientists to overuse technical jargon, it also underscores a more fundamental issue of scientific literacy, and literacy in general, that seems to be only getting worse. </p>
