Episode 168 - The Grumpy Goat

<p> <strong>I am delighted to welcome to the Podcast, Anne-Marie from The Grumpy Goat in Reading.</strong></p> <p><strong>The Grumpy Goat opened in the quirky Harris Arcade near Reading station in 2013, in a tiny unit, where swinging a cat would have been very hazardous to the brilliant stocks of bottles, cans and cheeses!</strong></p> <p><strong>In Oct 2020, during the darkest days of COVID, they took the opportunity to move into a much larger shop unit, in Union Street, just off Reading&#39;s main pedestrianised shopping street. The new unit enabled a much larger stock of beers, wines and spirits, and also a significant expansion of the Deli side of the business.</strong></p> <p><strong>Finally, and most exciting of all, in August 2022, the Goat Tap was opened above the shop, which is where we are recording from today. </strong> </p>
