<p>In this episode, the two Matts release the episode early for once to both coincide with the holiday and begin the transition of releasing these episodes on Saturdays rather than Wednesdays, perform another writing-themed Christmas song parody no one but us likes but is tradition at this point, deal with all three De Papier brothers at once, and talk about writing plots and events that are allegories of real or legendary events in the next of our set about allegories. What are the benefits of having your plots be an allegory for something more well-known? How can you keep it from being too on-the-nose? Why would you want to do this versus having unique plots? Why does Matt David dislike allegories so much and prefer surface-level stuff if he's a freaking writer?
