He returns with an army, and His glorious presence will be so bright it will cause the sun and moon to be ashamed. The Lord Jesus Christ raptures us before the wrath by taking us up to meet Him in the clouds. His brightness will destroy His enemies, which is likely why we go up to meet Him in clouds, where He is hidden from the world temporarily.
