Episode 127 “2023/24 season preview show”

After an 8 week break the pod returns. Nick is joined by Tom Coley (@tomcoley49) from football.london (@Football_LDN) to preview the 2023/24 season.  This summer the public has been hit with “Barbenheimer” with both Barbie & Oppenheimer being huge hits at the box office, making lots of money in the process. Chelsea also have raked in a lot of money this summer & that’s where we begin with the departures of Tiémoué Bakayoko, N'Golo Kanté, Kalidou Koulibaly, Mateo Kovačić, Édouard Mendy, Kai Havertz, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Mason Mount, César Azpilicueta, Baba Rahman, Christian Pulisic, Ethan Ampadu, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, João Félix & Denis Zakaria while David Datro Fofana & Omari Hutchinson have left on loan to Union Berlin & Ipswich respectively & Lewis Hall is expected to follow suit & join Crystal Palace. We also ponder the futures of Hakim Ziyech, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Trevoh Chalobah & Conor Gallagher. Up next we then discuss the blues new signings Lesley Ugochukwu, Nicolas Jackson, Diego Moreira, Christopher Nkunku, Malo Gusto, Axel Disasi & Robert Sánchez.
