Description
<div class=""> <div class="">It’s 1990 in the UK for a couple of weeks on the HHPP starting with Ride’s stellar debut. The Oxford quartet along with My Bloody Valentine were the stalwarts for the then gestating Shoegaze scene, but while MBV leaned more heavily into the sonic chaos of Sonic Youth, Ride drew on the psychedelia of The Stones Roses. Regardless of shared of specific influences, each would release masterpieces at the start of the decade, starting with <em>Nowhere</em>. </div> <div class=""> <div class=""> </div> </div> <div class=""><u class="">Recommended Listening</u><span class= ""> </span></div> <div class=""><span class=""> </span></div> <div class=""><em>Going Blank Again</em></div> <div class=""> https://open.spotify.com/album/5l70cCHX1QzN680J68rblF?si=T0G9dn_VSXmBm1OHx76gcQ</div> <div class=""> </div> <div class="">Arabian Disco </div> <div class=""> https://soundsoftheuniverse.com/product/various-arabian-disco</div> <div class=""> </div> <div class="">7 Seconds <em>Walk Together Rock Together </em></div> <div class=""> https://open.spotify.com/album/21CVdYp5y603h73JwAwf0N?si=-euD06vMQoWHuhUyRxkNWw</div> <div class=""><em> </em></div> <div class="">Ash</div> <div class=""> https://open.spotify.com/artist/2evydP72Z45DouM4uMGsIE?si=Rt6CxOj4SoqKQAh6nc9MLA</div> <div class=""> </div> <div class=""> <div class=""><a class="" href= "http://huntsmanhill.com/">huntsmanhill.com</a></div> <div class=""><a class="" href= "mailto:huntsmanhillpodcast@gmail.com">huntsmanhillpodcast@gmail.com</a></div> <div class=""><a class="" href= "http://instagram.com/huntsmanhill">instagram.com/huntsmanhill</a></div> <div class=""><a class="" href= "https://twitter.com/HuntsmanHill">https://twitter.com/HuntsmanHill</a></div> <div class="">Spotify Playlist: <a class="" href= "https://open.spotify.com/user/1298220429/playlist/4gy1wWwypkoFS2lUztvZ44?si=waSq07DBQlq3x9G1_nK0pg">https://open.spotify.com/user/1298220429/playlist/4gy1wWwypkoFS2lUztvZ44?si=waSq07DBQlq3x9G1_nK0pg</a></div> <div class=""> </div> <div class="
