Ep. 77: Measure yourSelf by "who" not "what"

<p>I almost made a mistake in celebrating an old client/friend recently.</p> <p>Upon sharing some really exciting personal news with me I almost responded,</p> <p>“Look at everything you’ve accomplished!”</p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">*cringe*</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I was that close to watering down a beautiful moment for her.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fortunately, I realized my societally-programmed misstep before I responded.</span></p> <p>Instead I said,</p> <p>“Look at who you’ve become.”</p> <p>That is the real celebration.</p> <p>Not “what” but “who.”</p> <p>-</p> <p>WATCH on YouTube:</p> <p>Come say hey over on IG @benjamin.m.fritz</p>
