Granik, whose films include</span> <em><span style="font-weight: 400;">Down to the Bone</span></em> <span style="font-weight: 400;">and</span> <em><span style= "font-weight: 400;">Winter’s Bone,</span></em> <span style= "font-weight: 400;">is recognized as one of film’s great talent spotters, casting actors Jennifer Lawrence and Vera Farmiga in their star-making roles.
