<p>Dr. John List is the Chief Economist at Walmart, the former Chief Economist at Lyft and Uber, and an Editor of The Journal of Political Economy. Now, the Kenneth C. Griffin Distinguished Service Professor in Economics at the University of Chicago, he was formerly the Chairman of the Department of Economics at UChicago. Holding a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wyoming, he has written hundreds of academic papers and several books, including most recently The Voltage Effect: How to Make Good Ideas Great and Great Ideas Scale.</p>
