Ep. 36 - Keeping our Children and our Community Safe regarding Firearms

Between 30 - 40 % of households have firearms, how do we keep our childrens safe from gun deaths, and teens safe from suicide by firearms? <p>Owning a firearm, whether for target shooting, hunting or personal protection, comes with an ongoing commitment to safety and responsibility. Following safety guidelines can help you be a responsible firearms owner by following the many laws regarding purchasing, ownership, storage and use.</p> <p>We need to create a culture of firearms safety, awareness of mental health and ongoing discussion of gun violence for the safety of our children...and our community.</p> <ul> <li>We owe this to the children in that classroom in Uvalde, Texas and to the many others who have suffered due to accidental firearms deaths, gun violence and suicide.</li> </ul>
