[Ep.30 Literature] Did Anna Karenina Borrow From Hunter x Hunter?

<p>Happy Halloween Week! <em>Trick or Treat?</em></p> <p>It is Halloween week, and if you chose "trick" you are in luck, because while we are talking about literature this week, the title of this episode is very misleading! Skylar was in charge of the drinks this week and due to procrastination she went with the quick fix of some Cayman Jack premixed margaritas. (She will say they taste like sprite, and she is only semi correct)</p> <p>The book we are discussing in this weeks episode is the very popular book: '<em>The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo</em>' by Taylor Jenkins Reid. This book is a historical fiction novel that was published in 2017. It tells the story of the Old Hollywood legend Evelyn Hugo doing a "tell-all" interview to an unknown journalist. In which, she spills all of her secrets and finally tells her truth.&nbsp;</p> <p>We tend to have some very long episodes from time to time, our literature episodes especially are always on the long side, so this is actually going to be our first 2-part episode! We will discuss the first half of this book, and then next week we will finish the book and discuss some general questions about it. As always, spoiler warnings for these 2 episodes, we talk about all of the juicy details and twists and turns. It's a fun book, though.
