<p>David Earl is an actor and comedian famous for his brilliant comedy character, Brian Gittens, which he plays in several Ricky Gervais projects; Derek, Extras, the film Cemetery Junction and the world wide Netflix smash hit, After Life. David works regularly with his After Life co-star, Joe Wilkinson and together they co-wrote and starred in the sitcom&nbsp;Rovers and the comedy series&nbsp;The Cockfields. David co-wrote and starred in the Film 4 feature film&nbsp;Brian and Charles&nbsp;where, as Brian Gittens, he plays an isolated inventor who builds a robot. It was nominated for the&nbsp;BAFTA Award for Outstanding British Film in 2023 and it won the Audience Favourite award at the Sundance Film Festival in 2022.
