<p>After the disappointment of EATEN ALIVE, things were looking pretty dire for Tobe Hooper.</p> <p>Luckily for him, as a film production of Stephen King's SALEM'S LOT was beginning to move along, the producer in charge screened Hooper's TEXAS CHAIN SAW MASSACRE while on the hunt for a director.
