<p>On episode 160 I am joined by Nick Elam, Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at Ball State University and creator of the Elam Ending, a new basketball format.</p> <p>Nick Elam, Ph.D. is a career-long educator. He prepares aspiring school leaders to serve in the field. Elam previously served as a school principal and math teacher. Along the way, Elam has served in a variety of roles in the sports world.</p> <p>In 2007, Nick devised a new format for basketball, whereby the final portion of the game would be played without a game clock as a way to preserve a more natural and exciting style of play.
