The best thing I can do is escape to the Philistines. Then Saul will stop hunting for me in Israelite territory, and I will finally be safe.”</p> <p class="p2"> </p> <p class="p1">12 Achish believed David and thought to himself, “By now the people of Israel must hate him bitterly. Now he will have to stay here and serve me forever!”</p> <p class="p2"> </p> <p class="p1">ADDITIONAL VERSES:</p> <p class="p2"> </p> <p class="p1">18 So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
