Ep. 106: Are Your Hands Clean?

<p class="p1">In Podcast Episode 106, “Are Your Hands Clean?,” Kim discusses the importance of having clean hands and a pure heart before God. As the prophet Samuel was ready to say goodbye to the Israelite nation to whom he had ministered since his youth, he had some matters he wanted to address. He began his farewell address by making sure his conscience was clear before them and, most importantly, before God. Might today be a good day for each of us to see if our hands are clean and our hearts are pure before God? And, if not, might we choose to turn to God for cleansing? </p> <p class="p2"> </p> <p class="p1">The primary scripture text for this episode is 1 Samuel 12:1-5, with the key verse 5:</p> <p class="p2"> </p> <p class="p1">1 Then Samuel addressed all Israel: “I have done as you asked and given you a king. 2 Your king is now your leader. I stand here before you—an old, gray-haired man—and my sons serve you. I have served as your leader from the time I was a boy to this very day. 3 Now testify against me in the presence of the Lord and before his anointed one. Whose ox or donkey have I stolen? Have I ever cheated any of you? Have I ever oppressed you? Have I ever taken a bribe and perverted justice?
