Her short fiction collection <a href='https://www.amazon.co.uk/Paisley-Shirt-Gail-Aldwin/dp/1910542296/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1539330576&amp;sr=8-1&amp;keywords=gail+aldwin'><em>Paisley Shirt</em></a><em>, </em>was longlisted in the best short story category of the Saboteur Awards 2018. Her debut novel <a href='https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07TS7ZLZY/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?_encoding=UTF8&amp;btkr=1'><em>The String Games</em></a><em>,</em> was published by <a href='https://www.victorinapress.com/'>Victorina Press</a> and was voted a finalist in The People’s Book Prize 2020 as well as being shortlisted in the Dorchester Literary Festival writing prize 2020.
