Educational Advice – Difficulties When Dealing With Schools & Educational Establishments

On Tuesday’s Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey was joined by John Burns, retired Deputy Principal at Rice College and Director of the Burns Study Centre in Ennis. On our last Educational Advice for 2023, John spoke about some difficulties faced by parents when dealing with schools and educational establishments. John highlighted the challenges and difficulties in relation to trying to track your child's progress and attendance, not getting responses from schools, understanding the code of discipline and financial pressure to fund school activities.
