EduCast - College Credit for Local HS Students

<p>Guest Kristel Tavare – Director of Pre K-12 Initiatives at CVTC</p> <p> </p> <p>We learn about the opportunities local students have to earn college credits, while still attending high school. CVTC works directly with 35 area school districts and much of what they offer has been a collaborative effort with the schools’ themselves.  Its led to the creation of the “high school academy” program in addition to the “start college now” Wisconsin initiative.</p> <p>What requirements are there and what is the application process.</p> <p>How do many of the high school programs CVTC works with local high schools on, differ from “AP” courses that are also offered?</p> <p> </p>
