Eduardo Mendieta on the Axial Age, Habermas, and Postsecularism

<p>Eduardo Mendieta is professor of philosophy, affiliated faculty at the School of International Affairs, and the Bioethics Program at Penn State University. He is the author of <em>The Adventures of Transcendental Philosophy</em> (2002) and <em>Global Fragments: Globalizations, Latinamericanisms</em>, <em>and Critical Theory</em> (2007). We discuss two of his articles, "The Axial Age, social evolution, and postsecular consciousness" (available through his page on Academia.edu) and his book review for Habermas' two-volume work translated as <em>Also a History of Philosophy</em>.</p>
