Eagles star John Ogu arrested allegedly for drink-driving, driver’s license suspended

<p>Super Eagles midfielder John Ogu has been arrested at his base in Israel allegedly for driving while under the influence of alcohol.</p>, <p>The driver’s license of Ogu has since been suspended for 30 days.</p>, <p>According to Israeli publication ONE, Ogu was arrested on Friday when he failed a routine alcohol test after he was stopped by the police.</p>, <p>He is expected to be sanctioned by his club Hapoel Be’er Sheva after he informed them of the incident.</p>, <p>Ogu has got his career back on track after a torrid time in Portugal.</p>, <p>He helped Hapoel Be’er Sheva to the league championship back-to-back in the last two seasons and he told SCORE Nigeria he could have joined Spanish club Real Betis in January but his club blocked the move.</p>, <p>SOURCE: SCORENIGERIA</p>
