I'll be looking at all 65 current dividend aristocrats and analyzing various time periods to see which aristocrat was the best one to own. By best dividend aristocrat I am talking about the one with the highest total or annualized return. I can tell you that during the last 10 years 20 dividend aristocrats outpaced the S&amp;P 500, and some by a pretty wide margin. Of course no all aristocrats had a good return, in fact there were a few pretty bad losers.
