Dream Jammers _ Pt 6

<p>Sunday 25th October,2020.</p> <p>Hello! A lovely Sunday morning to you in the name of Jesus.</p> <p>We thank God for His grace and we thank God as He’s brought us this far in the month of October.</p> <p>I will be reading 1 Samuel 13:11 (NLT)</p> <p>"But Samuel said, “What is this you have done?” Saul replied, “I saw my men scattering from me, and you didn’t arrive when you said you would, and the Philistines are at Micmash ready for battle"</p> <p>You remember the story. Samuel told Saul "Wait for me seven days, I will come and do the sacrifice before you go into battle." So, on the seventh day, I don't know what time exactly, the bible doesn't give us the detail but sometime on the seventh day. Samuel was getting under pressure. He saw his soldiers moving, he saw that the time was going, and Samuel had not yet arrived. He saw the soldiers of the Philistines getting to battle formation and he had to make a judgement call based on the things he saw and that got him into trouble because just after that, right under seventh day, Samuel came in. But the action of Saul, took him into sin and that sin jammed the dream that God had for his life.</p> <p>That's incredibly sad. We all have to make decisions from time to time based on the things we see, hear and the things generally that comes from our sensory perception but we must be careful not to really make those fundamental decisions based on sensory perception alone. We must learn as believers not to make complete judgement based on the things that come through our senses alone.</p> <p>Isa 11:3 says concerning Jesus and the spirit of God. It says "He will not judge by the seeing of the eyes and by hearing of the ears but by righteousness will He judge. But believe me, no matter how simple it is in saying it, it is tough. Sometimes last year in May 2019.
