<p>Dre Black is a singer, songwriter, and independent artist born in Washington, DC. He graduated from Duke Ellington School of the Performing Arts which groomed him along his artistic journey. When he graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology he wanted to pursue a career in fashion; however, music continued to manifest. In 2004, Dre auditioned for American Idol Season 4, making it to the 3rd round at the DC auditions; however, it wasn&apos;t enough for Hollywood. As Dre continued to grow and evolve as an artist he collaborated with various artists throughout the DMV area.
