Dr Linda Mshweshwe | Domestic Violence in South Africa and African Feminism - S2E23

<p>Dr Linda Mshweshwe holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Johannesburg in South Africa. She is a Postdoctoral Researcher at SOAS University of London in the School of History, Religions and Philosophies. She has taught family sociology at several South African institutions, including the University of Johannesburg and the University of South Africa. Her research interests and publications are in Gender and Justice. Dr Mshweshwe has been active in several community engagement roles that involve women's empowerment. In 2020, she founded a charity organization that provides emotional support for survivors of domestic abuse called 'Woman You are Favored' (WYAF).
