Dr. Francis Yoo is a born-and-raised New Yorker. He received his BA in Philosophy and Mathematics from NYU and his DO medical degree from NYCOM. He is certified in Family Medicine, Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine / Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, Integrative Medicine, Pain Medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Medical Acupuncture and has education in Functional Medicine, Lifestyle Medicine, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. His private practice medicine focuses on Osteopathy, Medical Acupuncture, and Lifestyle Medicine. He has devoted much of himself to learning, integrating, and teaching the why and how of self-awareness and self-discovery for personal development. His journey has brought him to eastern and western philosophy, psychology of judgment and decision making, the MBTI and Jungian Analytic Psychology, the Enneagram, and breathwork / cultivation practices. He writes,teaches, and coaches for Physician Personal Development, Wellness, & Wholeness. His goal is to help physicians to transcend the status quo and start living their own authentic lives. His interests include credit card miles/points, Japanese anime and role-playing games, pizza, sushi, and playing the electric guitar with a lot of distortion.
