<p>When Double Dare premiered in 1986, it became an instant kid-friendly sensation. Hosted by Marc Summers, the gak-soaked Nickelodeon game show aired in some form or another on the network until 1993. Many remember that Double Dare was shot in front of a live audience at Nick Studios in Orlando Florida. However, it;s a forgotten fact that Double Dare started sliming kids right here in Philadelphia.</p>
