Doonbeg Medicine Student Reflects on Experience Serving as an Army Medic in Ukraine

On Friday's Morning Focus Alan spoke to Oran McInerney from Doonbeg who has had first-hand experience of the war in Ukraine. Oran is currently studying medicine at The University of Limerick and training as an emergency response army medic. Over Easter, Oran spent two weeks in the Bakhmut and Oblast regions of Ukraine, dealing with casualties and reflected on this experience there along with his plans for the future.
