Description
<p>It can be scary, shocking, and exciting to be diagnosed with ADHD, but it is a whole other experience when you are diagnosed late. Today’s episode features my dear friend Jasmine, a young student who was recently diagnosed with ADHD, although she is an amazing and courageous human being, her journey has been far from easy and perfect. Let’s talk about late ADHD diagnosis and its impact on mental health!</p><p><strong>Music & Editor: Trent Tucker</strong></p><p><strong>More Lucie Pod here: <a href="https://linktr.ee/theluciepod" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://linktr.ee/theluciepod</a></strong></p><p><strong>Mental Health Resources:</strong></p><p><strong>ADHD National Helpline: 1300 39 39 19</strong></p><p><strong>Beyond Blue Helpline: 1300 22 4636</strong></p><p><strong>Lifeline: 13 111 4</strong></p><p><strong>Kids helpline: 1800 55 1800</strong></p><p><strong>Lucie Pod Resources Page: <a href="https://theluciepod585124677.wordpress.com/resources/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://theluciepod585124677.wordpress.com/resources/</a></strong></p><p><strong>Haiti & Afghanistan Donation:</strong></p><p><strong>UNICEF Haiti: <a href="https://www.unicef.org/appeals/haiti" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.unicef.org/appeals/haiti</a></strong></p><p><strong>Care Haiti 2021 Earthquake Emergency: <a href="https://www.care.org.au/country/haiti/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.care.org.au/country/haiti/</a></strong></p><p><strong>Hope for Haiti: <a href="https://hopeforhaiti.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://hopeforhaiti.com/</a></strong></p><p><strong>Save the Children Afghanistan: <a href="https://www.savethechildren.org/us/where-we-work/afghanistan" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://www.savethechildren.org/us/where-we-work/afghanistan</a></strong>
