Domestic Tourists Staying Longer In Clare Than Almost Anywhere Else

The latest figures from the Central Statistics Office show that domestic tourists stayed longer in Clare on average than in all but one other county in 2021. Kilkee Fianna Fáil Councillor and Co-founder of Loop Head Tourism, Cillian Murphy Speaking has been telling Clare FM's Rebecca O'Sullivan that the county's surplus in self-catering accommodation is stifling the expansion of hotels and B&B's.
