Director Florian Zeller Interview

<p>Florian Zeller&nbsp;is a French&nbsp;novelist,&nbsp;playwright,&nbsp;and&nbsp;director. He won the prestigious&nbsp;Prix Interallié&nbsp;in 2004 for his novel&nbsp;La Fascination du pire&nbsp;(Fascination of Evil) and several awards for his plays. He is, according to&nbsp;The Guardian, "the most exciting playwright of our time". In 2020, he directed his first film,&nbsp;The Father, based on his play, starring&nbsp;Anthony Hopkins&nbsp;and&nbsp;Olivia Colman. The film received four nominations, including&nbsp;Best Motion Picture – Drama&nbsp;at the&nbsp;78th Golden Globe Awards.
