Directing Independent Theatre Companies

Ever wondered about what it takes to start your own theatre company and take a show to the Edinburg Fringe festival? Today's episode is with Holly Barnard, a British director, theatre maker and performer who divides her time working between London and Berlin. She is the director of two theatre companies, both of which explore feminist themes - Cold Dinner in London and Thesmophoria in Berlin. With Cold Dinner, she has taken performances to festivals across the UK, including the Edinburgh Fringe, and Thesmophoria recently performed their first show in public spaces across the city of Berlin.
