Adam used to be in charge of everything because God gave him the authority over all things that he had made. Adam took responsibility for his environment and directed the activities in the garden. But immediately after the Fall, we could see how Adam changed. He had fears, he was also scared for his life and everything was overwhelming him. In this state it is right to say that Adam was literally malfunctioning. He began to hide from God, make excuses, blame other people for his woes apart from himself. This is to show us that there was a clear difference between the kind of life God gave him and the life he was reduced to after the Fall.</p> <p><br></p> <p>When the life of God is in a man, it affects the way he functions and the authority he functions with. When man fell he was reduced to nothing and his value was mere dust. All he had was a natural life that Satan could manipulate and snuff out of him at will. His life became so delicate and ordinary that anything could take him out. Paul spoke to the Corinthian Church, telling them that the way they live their lives wasn't the way they were supposed to leave. He made them understand that they were behaving below the standard of life that a person who has the life of God in them should not be living. So in 1Corinthians 3:3 (NKJV) he said..</p> <p><br></p> <p>"for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?"</p> <p><br></p> <p>Now these people were believers who had the life of God in them, but he saw their manner of life, and immediately cautioned them, because there was a disconnect between the life of God that was in them and their lifestyle. The way they were behaving could only be interpreted to mean that they were living their lives l
