Effects are accumulating during this time of disruption, with those who develop resilience and empathy emerging most stable. Teens today are said to be 40% less empathetic than children 30 years ago. Implications impact academic performance and cheating, but more importantly affects self-image, bullying, peer relationships, and ability to collaborate, innovate and problem solve. Here I share ways to cultivate, practice and live life-enhancing skills of resilience and empathy.</p>
