Knox, Kentucky</p> <p>Elizabeth takes us to the rolling hills of Kentucky south of Louisville.  There, nearly 100 years ago, the government  built the <a href="https://home.army.mil/knox/index.php" target= "_blank" rel="noopener">Ft. Knox Army Base</a>.   In 1936, the US Mint chose the secure military base and built the <a href= "https://www.usmint.gov/about/mint-tours-facilities/fort-knox" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ft.
