Day 324: Fasting and Prayer (Bible Tribe Neh. 1-3)

<p>Have you ever fasted? Sometimes we can miss a mighty movement of God in our lives is we forsake fasting and praying. When we find ourselves in desperate times, fasting and praying is about humbling ourselves before God so we can seek Him more fervently.</p> <p><strong>Bible Reading:</strong> <strong>Neh. 1-3</strong></p> <p>Verse of the day: Nehemiah 1:4, "As soon as I heard these words I sat down and wept and mourned for days, and I continued fasting and praying before the God of heaven."</p> <p>Word of the day: Fasting. It is the Hebrew word:  צוּם (tsoom).           </p>
