Day 142: Seeking Wise Advice (Bible Tribe 2 Sam. 16-20)

Wise counsel is determined by how much that counsel lines up with the principles found in the word of God.</p> <p><strong>Bible Reading:</strong> <strong>2 Sam. 16-20</strong></p> <p>Verse of the day: 2 Samuel 16:23, "The advice of Ahithophel, which he gave in those days, was as if one inquired of the word of God; so was all the advice of Ahithophel regarded by both David and Absalom."</p> <p>Word of the day: Advice. It is the Hebrew word:  עֵצָה (ay-tsaw').</p>
