"Darlene and the Ice Storm: A Winter's Tale" by Robert D. Culp

<p><em>When Darlene, Rooster's pregnant heifer, wanders off during an ice storm, Rooster and his best friend, Cotton, must find her before she gives birth. Unfortunately, they are too late and they have to figure out how to get the newborn to safety.
