Daniel was one of 53 American soldiers who battled over 400 enemy Taliban insurgents after they attacked in the 2009 battle of Kamdesh.</p> <p>For more than 12 hours Daniel continued to fight with shrapnel embedded in his neck and leg and bullet fragments lodged in his shoulder.</p> <p>The story of that battle was just released as a new movie called <a href= "https://screenmediafilms.net/productions/details/3168/The-Outpost" target="_blank" rel="noopener">THE OUTPOST</a> which stars Orlando Bloom, Scott Eastwood, Caleb Landry Jones, and Daniel portrays himself. It's a phenomenal movie, a must watch.
