Cuomo administration leaves NY HERO Act in limbo

August 10, 2021 - State lawmakers and Gov. Andrew Cuomo approved a law this year designed to prevent the spread of airborne infections in the workplace, but the state Department of Health - to the ire of labor advocates - won't take the procedural step to trigger the protections afforded in the measure.
