Crucial Conversations: Race, perception, & communication

Jamal & I have conversations every week. This one was difficult. He called me last night and said, "you know what we need to talk about tomorrow." In the fallout of the George Floyd debacle, Jamal reflects on his life, and how he is preparing his son's for life, and interactions with police. I try and unpack my feelings and uneasiness with the situation, especially as I fear this could further tear people apart. While this was an unscripted podcast, we had an honest, open dialogue on fear, healing, and understanding.
