COVID-19 and global economy focus of G20

As the two-day virtual meeting by the world’s 20 biggest economies came to an end, leaders say that they will strive for fair global access for COVID-19 vaccines. The G20 will also endorse a plan to extend the freeze in debt service payments by the poorest countries to mid-2021. At the summit, China also called for global efforts for poverty alleviation and climate change.
