Nafs is the part of the body that attracts a person towards Sin and facilitates shiatan to enter the body. People worship their Shaw’aat. Nafs can be the source of evil as it is attracted towards the wrong things. Therefore, our goal should be to domesticate the Nafs from Nafs-e-Ammarah to Nafs-e-Lawamah. This will allow the Nafs to attract the human towards the lighted part.
