Councillor Critical Of Timeline For Completion Of Municipal District Works

Clare County Council has defended the pace of progress on flood relief works in Shannon. €27 million in Government funding was allocated towards the Shannon Town and Environs Flood Relief Scheme received in 2018. However, at a special meeting of Shannon Municipal District councillors, where the Schedule of Municipal District Works for 2023 was adopted, there was some criticism over the speed of delivery and value for money of some projects.
