CoolerTemps 50’s 60’s & Windy This Week; Warmer & Dry Weekend; Repeat Next Week Windy, Colder Scattered Light Rain

<p>Today skies will gradually become partly cloudy with breezy south-southwesterly winds warming afternoon temps into the middle 60’s, while overnight lows remain in the mid to upper 30’s under clear skies.  Tomorrow a deep cut-off upper-level low develops over the northern Plains and slowly moves eastward Wednesday bringing gusty north winds 50+ mph across the area, a few widely scattered light rain showers tomorrow afternoon and cooler temps with highs in the 50’s and lows below freezing.  Thursday and Friday a large blocking high-pressure develops over the Rockies with down-sloping northwest flow over the area keeping things dry and fire conditions elevated.  Thursday’s temps remain cooler in the low 50’s and warm into low 60’s Friday.</p>
